Students must be non-Missouri residents (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) with a 21 ACT or 1060 SAT and a 3.00 cumulative high school GPA; or test optional with a 3.25 cumulative high school GPA.

There is no deadline for the Redhawks Achievement Award!

Yes! As long as the student completes 24 hours and has a 2.75 GPA, the award is automatically renewed each year.

Approximately $6,570!

Students do not have to provide an ACT or SAT score in order to be eligible for the Redhawks Achievement Award. Students who choose the test optional method must have a 3.25 cumulative high school GPA.

Just apply for admission and we will do the rest! The Redhawks Achievement Award is regularly granted to beginning freshman when they are admitted to SEMO.

There is no catch! Non-Missouri residents can receive the Redhawks Achievement Award when they apply for admission and save money while attending an out-of-state university!

Southeast combines real-world learning experiences in our curriculum so your first day on the job isn't your first day doing that job. Combine that with our affordable cost and generous scholarship program and we're living proof that high quality doesn't have to mean high tuition.

/ GROUNDBREAKING ACADEMICS

Cybersecurity. Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Arts-only Campus. Yep, we did it first in Missouri. International Business Competitions. Debate. Newspaper. Yep, we've been named tops in them all. Southeast is one of the most accredited institutions in the state. Meaning what we do best is helping you learn what you'll do best.

At Southeast, we do want to make sure you get plenty of rest, if only to have more energy for enriching our campus.  A recreation center, an aquatic center, student organizations, Greek life, honors program, and multiple leadership academies mean whatever type of joiner you want to be, there’s a group waiting for you.

If you’re into a sport, we have a team for you to cheer. And, we do expect you to cheer. We play to compete, but these teams are as focused in the classroom and in the community as on their sports, sponsoring a kids carnival and camps, supporting breast cancer awareness, and hosting the community at many pre-game activities including the Redhawks Walk before all home football games.
